Admissions
What do I need to apply to a Turkish university?
For most private universities you need a high-school diploma (and transcript) for bachelor’s, or a bachelor’s degree for master’s/PhD, plus your passport. Many programs accept students without an entrance exam. We review your documents and tell you exactly what each university needs.
Do I need to speak Turkish?
No. Hundreds of programs are taught fully in English, and many universities offer a one-year English (or Turkish) preparatory school if you need it. You can study your whole degree in English.
When should I apply?
Most universities have two intakes, Fall (around September) and Spring (around February), with rolling admissions. We recommend starting 2-4 months ahead so there’s time for documents, admission and visa.
How long does admission take?
Once your documents are ready, an admission offer from a private university often comes within a few days to two weeks. We prepare and submit everything for you.
Costs & scholarships
How much is tuition?
It varies widely by university and program. English-taught bachelor’s programs commonly run roughly $3,000-8,000 per year, while Medicine and Dentistry are higher. Every program’s exact annual fee is shown on our programs page.
Are there scholarships or discounts?
Yes. Most private universities offer merit scholarships (25-100%), plus sibling discounts and cash/early-payment discounts. The government Türkiye Scholarships (Türkiye Bursları) is also available. We help you secure what you qualify for.
What does it cost to live in Türkiye?
Living costs are affordable compared with Europe, roughly $400-700 per month for a student in most cities, depending on the city and lifestyle (Istanbul is higher; Anatolian and Cyprus cities are lower).
Are your services free?
As an authorized agent, our guidance is free for students for most universities. Tuition and any official fees are paid directly to the university, and we keep everything transparent from the start.
Visa & travel
How does the student visa work?
After you receive your admission/acceptance letter, you apply for a student visa at the Turkish consulate in your country. We guide you through the document list and the steps. After arrival you convert it into a residence permit.
Can I get a residence permit?
Yes. Enrolled students apply for a student residence permit (ikamet) shortly after arriving. We support you through the application.
Can I work while studying?
Bachelor’s students can generally work part-time with the proper permit after their first year, and graduate students have more flexibility. Internships are part of many programs.
Studying & life
Are Turkish degrees recognized?
Yes. Turkish universities are accredited by the Higher Education Council (YÖK) and follow the Bologna/ECTS system, so degrees are recognized across the EU, the Middle East and beyond. Many programs hold extra international accreditations (MÜDEK, ABET-equivalent, etc.).
Where will I live?
Universities offer on-campus dormitories, and there are private dorms and shared apartments nearby. International offices help with housing, and we point you to the best options for your city and budget.
Will I get support after I arrive?
Absolutely. We stay in touch after you land, with residence permit, settling in, and any issues, and the universities have dedicated international student offices.
